The Shelley Webster Memorial Golf Tournament

I was very privileged to be invited back to photograph the 2nd annual Shelley Webster Memorial Golf Tournament this year.  I had been fortunate enough to capture the first one last year.

The tournament was started by local mom, Laura Thomas.  She was looking to raise funds for her local facebook moms group and recalled her mother telling her a story about a womens' only golf tournament that she used to take part in.  This inspired Laura to initiate arrangements for a golf tournament for the moms on the TCMG - Tri-City Mom's Group.  While she was organizing the event, her mother became very ill.  Sadly, Shelley Webster passed on the morning of the tournament and it was decided that the tournament would be named in her honour.  

Laura has continued the tradition and here are some images from the 2nd annual Shelley Webster Memorial Golf Tournament.  Here's to many more years of this wonderful fundraiser that helped so many local families throughout the year.
